RULES
– Each player will pay joining fee of $10/person and paid before the tournament start (this fee will cover court, light booking, snack, drink and prize if win).
– Winning prize of $100 cash will be given to the winners along with medals or cup.
– The tournament will be scheduled at the end of every month on Friday night at Kingsbury tennis club.
– Recommended player to come at 7.30pm for warm up and start the tournament at 7.45pm sharp.
– If players come late or cannot make it to the tournament, they will automatically be counted as a loss and the opponent team will get advantage of 6-0 adding to their tournament record.
– WTATC will have 16 slots for player to register, and players will be ranked based on their known skill.
– After all players have successfully registered, they will be put in the rank list
– Highest rank player will have to pair up with lowest rank player, second highest will pair up with second lowest rank and so on.
– All pairs will be random pick and put into 2 groups (4 groups for larger number of registered players)
– All teams in group A will play against other teams (For example: A1vsA2, A2vsA3)
– All teams in group B will play against other teams (For example: B1vsB2, B2vsB3)
– Top 1 group A and B will be chosen based on their winning games and sets, those 2 teams will be qualifying for the final match to decide which team is the winner
– All group matches will play golden point rule, whichever team reach to 6th set is the winner
– Final match will play either golden point rule or as usual depending on time management. At 5-5 tie break till 7 will decide winner
– The players in the bottom team of each group will be deduct 0.1 point on the rank list and tournament winner team will be added 0.1 point to their rank. Second place team will be added 0.05
– WTATC requires player to respect each other and fair play through the tournament.
– In some situation when it is 50/50 ball in or out, the call will be given to receiving serve teams
